Software Engineer

Position Description

Develop and test new embedded software for safety critical systems, support existing products, andvalidate compliance to software standards.

Basic Job Requirements

  • At least two (2) years working in software development

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)

  • Good knowledge of C++ and object oriented design

  • Working knowledge of Linux

  • Exposure to RTOS concepts

We are a small team, and everyone wears as many hats as they can fit. Any of the below knowledge or skills will make you more valuable here:

  • Automated systems and SW Unit test development

  • Test data collection and management

  • Systems engineering, requirements tracing

  • Unified Modelling language (UML)

  • Embedded systems programming

  • Linux system administration

  • Source code control (git)

  • Python, perl, javascript development

  • FPGA configuration and IO/glue logic

  • Shared memory

  • C, Uboot, vxWorks, bare metal, device drivers

  • Rocket Science
