Answer

This is enabled with the wpa_supplicant application which is stored on the flashfs. Please make sure you have Version 1.3 or later of the BSP.

You will need to edit the wpa_supplicant.conf file which is stored in /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf. Actually this is a sym link to /mnt/mtd3/conf/wpa_supplicant.conf so that changes will be saved.

Follow the instructions on how to remount the flash filesystem for read/write access and modify the wpa_supplicant.conf so that your access point ssid and configuration are included.

Then run the following command:

  • /usr/bin/wpa_supplicant -dd -i eth1 -I eth1 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf -B

This willl load the supplicant as a daemon using the configuration file you just modified with extra debug verbosity.
