Sagrad Receives FAA Part 450 Approval for the Autonomous Flight Termination Unit

The FAA has completed and approved their evaluation of Sagrad Inc Safety Element for Autonomous Flight Termination Unit (AFTU) and software wrapper that satisfy 450.141 and 450.145 of title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR).  They have approved the Autonomous Flight Termination Unit and Software Wrapper as a component of flight safety. This approval will minimize some of the time in order for the providers of  launch vehicles to get their  licenses  approved that will employ Autonomous Flight Safety Systems (AFSS).
